BUILT FOR THE LATHE

A conventional workshop apron works well for most jobs. Work at a lathe presents a different problem.

Wood shavings and chips have a habit of landing directly in open lower pockets. We adapted our No.325Y Workshop Apron by adding a full-width flap over the lower pockets. Debris falls over the flap while the storage underneath remains accessible when you need it.

It's a simple change designed around a specific kind of work.

MORE THAN WOODTURNING

Although we designed this version with woodturning in mind, the same problem exists in other shops. The pocket flap also helps deflect metal filings, chips, sawdust, and other debris generated at a workbench or machine.

Underneath, it's still our No.325 Workshop Apron: heavy waxed canvas, useful tool storage, and an adjustable leather Y-strap that can be removed and replaced independently.

SMALL-BATCH MADE IN OMAHA

We cut and sew each No.325 in our Omaha, Nebraska studio using materials selected for years of shop use.

Waxed canvas creases, scuffs, and develops character. Full-grain leather darkens and softens. Solid brass develops patina.

This isn't an apron designed to stay clean.

CARE

Remove leather straps before cleaning. Spot clean the waxed canvas with a damp cloth and allow to air dry. Do not machine wash or dry clean.

Waxed canvas and leather will naturally crease, scuff, darken, and develop patina with use.

Pant Size is seldom based off actual dimensions. It is not reliable in determining apron size.

It's best to measure around the widest point of your waist with a tailor's tape or string. You could also lay a pair of pants that fit flat then measure across the waist. Double that measurement to get circumference.
