BACK TO SCHOOL. IVY STYLE.

I’ve always been drawn to Ivy Style — khaki chinos, herringbone sport coats, oxford shirts and collegiate striped repp ties.

Ivy Style's influence on American culture and design has lasted for generations.

For the first time, we made our signature No.103 Project Tote in khaki — one of my favorite colors and a classic that pairs with just about everything.

We also dug into our collection of vintage and deadstock textiles, finding materials that felt right at home with the idea: herringbone wool suiting and striped awning reminiscent of old-school repp ties.

We found a limited quantity of vintage deadstock herringbone wool suiting and used it to make a small batch of our No.13 Skein Sacks.

The classic herringbone gives them a completely different look and feel from our usual twills, and seemed particularly fitting for this collection and the start of fall.

VINTAGE STRIPES

The other material that got this collection started was vintage striped awning fabric we've collected and saved over the years. The colors and stripes reminded me of old-school repp ties.

We used it to make a limited run of No.248 Tote Inserts in several different stripes, along with No.007 Zip Pouches.

Small-batch handmade in our Omaha, NE studio. The vintage pieces are especially limited, and once the fabric is gone, that’s it.
