Made from upcycled pieces of NOS (new old stock) antique awning cloth. This type is circa 1970's and has a rubberized treatment over canvas that is very durable. Whether used as a clutch, or carried inside a larger bag, it will help you stay organized. Handmade in our Omaha, NE studio.

I'm always on the hunt for vintage materials to use with ARTIFACT designs and love antique painted awning cloth. It's cotton canvas and the stripes and colors are printed over the surface like silkscreen. With time and use the material softens like an old band tee shirt.

The awning industry moved on to woven polyester materials decades ago, so it's great to upcycle this material into such an ideal use.

We use this handy bag for stowing: phone / computer / camera cords, cosmetics, toiletries, art supplies, small tools, guitar / drum accessories bag, and much more. The awning material is naturally water repellent and unique.
